Los Glaciares National Park

Los Glaciares National Park is Argentina's largest protected area and the most iconic adventure destination in Patagonia. Cueva de las Manos: UNESCO World Heritage Site

163 km from town, in the Pinturas River canyon, the Cueva de las Manos was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Its rock paintings are between 9,000 and 13,000 years old — the oldest artistic expression in the Americas. Negative hand silhouettes, guanacos and hunting scenes bring the first Patagonians to life.

The Patagonian Steppe

Historic Estancias
